Brooklyn private independent school

The Berkeley Carroll Soccer Camp is designed for children entering grades 1 through 4 who are looking for an intensive but enjoyable training program. Working under the guidance of experienced coaches, campers will focus on a different soccer fundamental each day, including shooting, passing, footwork, etc. Participants will be divided into groups based on age and experience.

Each day will consist of several training sessions throughout the day. Campers will also participate in daily contests and scrimmages, with the camp culminating in a tournament on Friday. The camp is open to students of all levels, but participants should be able to participate in 2-3 hours of sports activities each day. Children will spend half their day on soccer training, and will also take part in swimming lessons at Berkeley Carroll's pool. Campers will also take part in regular camp activities such as arts and crafts for the remainder of the day.

Berkeley Carroll offers the following discounts for campers participating in multiple weeks of its Classic Day Camp or specialty camps:

Campers participating in 3 or 4 weeks of camp at BC: $25 off per week
Campers participating in 5 or 6 weeks of camp at BC: $50 off per week
Campers participating in 7, 8, or 9 weeks of camp at BC: $75 off per week

Please note that discounts are per child. For example, having two children enrolled in 4 weeks each does not count as an 8 week discount. Instead, each child would receive the four week discount.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis; early enrollment is strongly recommended. A 20% deposit must be submitted at the time of registration. The balance is due on May 1.

Medical Form

An emergency contact and consent form and a current immunization record must be on file by the first day of the program. A full-time nurse is on the premises.

The camp is based at the Berkeley Carroll Athletic Center on President Street in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn. The Athletic Center includes a four-lane, 75-foot swimming pool, two full-size gyms, a mezzanine area for fitness and strength-training, and two play yards.

All campers bring their own lunch. Snacks are provided daily.

Campers should bring bathing suits, goggles, and towels for training sessions at the pool, and shorts, t-shirts and sneakers for land workouts. Swim caps and camp t-shirts will be provided by the camp.
