Summer Programs
Every summer, the Berkeley Carroll School offers a wide variety of summer school camps and programs for students from Pre-K through 12th grade. These programs range from a classic children's day camp to sports camps that take advantage of our state-of-the-art athletic center, to a multidisciplinary arts program at our upper school campus. We hope you will explore our programs to learn about all the opportunities Berkeley Carroll offers for an enriching and exciting summer in the heart of Brooklyn!
Berkeley Carroll’s summer school camps and programs support student growth by allowing them to develop existing skills and explore new subjects that might not be available during the school year. Our programs are also intended to prevent the “summer slide” that is so common to students during their primary and secondary education. Our schedule is designed so students can mix and match different courses, camps and extended day programs for a diverse and balanced summer experience.
Our summer staff is comprised of teachers, coaches and administrators who work at Berkeley Carroll during the year, instructors from other private and public schools in New York city, working artists, aquatics and athletics professionals, and energetic high school students, who serve as counselors in training for several of our programs. We are proud of our experienced, committed and diverse team, and are pleased to have the vast majority of our staff return summer after summer.
The summer programs staff is available to answer any of your questions and assist you in discovering the right summer opportunities for your student. Please contact us at summer@berkeleycarroll.org or 718-534-6538.
Registration for Summer 2024 opens on Wednesday, January 31st at 12pm.
