VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Who-hoo is ready for Halloween? It’s time for the Berkeley Carroll annual Halloween tradition which we’re rebranding this year as Scare Fair! And congrats to 5th grader Sam M. on their winning design!
Hosted on Sunday, October 26 from 12-4, our Scare Fair is an ALL COMMUNITY effort so we need your help!
Day-of Volunteer - Parents, caregivers, faculty, staff and students 5th Grade+! Please view all the ways you can participate in set up, clean up and for a day-of event shift! Please give your time, even if just an hour! Sign up to volunteer here!
Bake Sale - We’re bringing it back, boo! Bake or buy and donate a treat. Open to all! Sign up to donate baked goods here.
Great Pumpkins needed for our patch - calling all our little ones to decorate a pumpkin to be DISPLAYED at the Scare Fair!! Drop them off at 181 Lincoln Place afterschool on Friday, Oct 24 or Saturday, Oct 25 between 12-4.

Food & Candy Tickets
All crafts, games, and activities are free—but you will need tickets for lunch, candy, and bake sale treats! We encourage families to buy tickets in advance to save time at check-in. No cash will be accepted on site, but you can purchase more tickets during the event using a credit card or mobile payment.
What tickets can be used for:
- Candy: 1–5 tickets per item
- Food: 2–4 tickets per item
- Bake Sale: 1–5 tickets per item
Suggested Ticket Planning:
Families typically spend 10–20 tickets depending on attendance and planned purchases. For example:
- 2 food items (8 tickets) + 2–3 candy stops (6–8 tickets) + optional swag (14 tickets)
Note: We have aligned ticket quantities with available food and candy to ensure everyone can enjoy the event. If an item sells out, remaining tickets can be used for other treats at our bake sale or entered for a chance to win BC SWAG!
