Before the halls filled with backpacks and first-day nerves, Berkeley Carroll’s own community was already hard at work. Faculty and staff kicked off the year with a workweek full of meetings, presentations, and classrooms transformed room by room in preparation for the students’ return.

New faces joined the BC family at the New Faculty Breakfast, a chance for incoming teachers and staff to meet colleagues and be officially welcomed to our amazing community.

But it wasn’t all business. The week also made room for connection with a staff and faculty ice cream social as well as some friendly pickleball competition, which gave everyone a chance to unwind (and maybe settle a score or two) before the students arrived.

By the time the buses arrived, and the first of the student’s fresh new sneakers hit the floor, BC’s faculty and staff were ready, reconnected and set to welcome another year of Lions.
