The Berkeley Carroll Speech and Debate Team delivered an outstanding performance at the Princeton Classic, bringing 18 students to compete against a strong field of schools.

Three BC students advanced to elimination rounds, marking an impressive showing for the team. Jaylen HP ’26 reached the octofinals in Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Mia S. ’28 advanced to the semifinals in Congressional Debate, while August A. ’28 earned finalist honors in Original Oratory, placing sixth overall.

August’s performance also secured their first bid to the prestigious University of Kentucky Tournament of Champions.
