Congratulations to Luke Ehrenfreund ’21, who recently received the Jacob Aron Shapiro ’05 Memorial Award from Hamilton College.

The award recognizes the player who best embodies the qualities Jacob Shapiro exemplified: “a natural physical gift, a tenacious and joyful spirit, an affinity for competition, and a fierce commitment to those around him.”

A senior midfielder, Luke concluded his Hamilton career with 33 points across 64 matches, including nine goals and 15 assists, the fourth-highest assist total in team history. He also earned three NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team honors and served as team co-captain in 2024.

Reflecting on life after graduation, Luke shared:

“I graduated from Hamilton last May and am now back in the city working in sports marketing. I’m incredibly passionate about using my passion and experience in sports to help brands show up in culture by connecting them to the biggest leagues, teams, and events across sports and entertainment.”
