5th Grade Debuts Their Musical Talent

The Berkeley Carroll community recently gathered in the Sterling Place Performance Space for the 5th Grade Debut Concert, a milestone celebrating the first-ever performance of these young musicians.

Featuring students from 5th grade strings, band, and choir, the concert highlighted the incredible progress students have made since first picking up their instruments in September. Family members, faculty, and friends filled the audience, eager to support and celebrate the performers. The evening featured a range of performances, all showcasing the students’ growing confidence, teamwork, and musical skill.

Middle School Director Paul McElfresh reflected on the achievement, “Congrats to the 5th graders and the music team on an amazing debut; it's unimaginable that they just started with their instruments in September!”

This special performance marks just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting musical journey for these talented students.
