BC ROARbots students and alumni reunited in the BetaLab for the launch of this year’s competition game, REBUILT, kicking off a season of strategy, collaboration, and robot-building excitement.

Berkeley Carroll’s chess team made a powerful statement at its second-ever Packer Tournament, earning top individual finishes, two first-place team titles, and recognition as a rising contender for the New York State Championships.

Third graders welcomed back storyteller Perry Ground, whose interactive stories introduced students to the beliefs, customs, and history of Indigenous peoples through lively participation and tradition-rich narratives. 

Sixth graders brought ancient philosophy into the present with TEDx AncientAthens, embodying thinkers like Plato and Aristotle to explore how their ideas still resonate today. 

Berkeley Carroll Middle School students debuted once comma twice, an original play by Mathilde Dratwa and the first production of the Theater Department’s New Works Program. Spanning two timelines and big questions about truth and storytelling, the show sold out its three-night run.
 

Twenty-nine seniors shared excerpts from original short stories at the Senior Reading in the Upper School Library, celebrating a semester of deep study, creative risk-taking, and the craft of fiction writing. Read more and view photos from the event.
