End of the Year Events

At the Lower School, the last day of school is known as Arch Day. A long-standing tradition is holding an Arch Day closing ceremony in the Athletic Center that includes families and special friends.

The Arch Day Ceremony schedule for Thursday, June 11 is below:

BC 3s, PreK 4, and Kindergarten: 9-9:45 AM
Grades 1 and 2: 10-10:45 AM
Grades 3 and 4: 11-11:50 AM*

A few details to note about Arch Day:

• Half day of school (noon dismissal for all students)
• Morning bus service only, there are NO BUSES in the afternoon.

Please note, teachers will communicate regarding celebrations in classrooms for each grade. 

*Immediately following the Arch Day Ceremony, fourth graders and their families will process from the Athletic Center to 181 Lincoln Place. This tradition symbolizes the class's transition from Lower School students at our Carroll Street Campus to Middle School students at 181 Lincoln. Families and students will enjoy lunch and a celebration.

A new tradition...

Middle School Field Day is on Tuesday, June 9! 

Our eighth graders have been hard at work, preparing for and facilitating opportunities for team spirit and joy for their groups of peers in Grades 5-7. 

Each MS student has been assigned a Field Day team, and  may elect to represent their team by dressing or accessorizing in their team color to show team spirit. 

Lunch will be provided for all students. Please make sure your child comes prepared with the following:

• A reusable water bottle
• Sunscreen
• Any emergency medications (EpiPen, rescue inhaler)
• Comfortable clothing and sneakers suitable for a day of athletics and games

We can't wait to see the whole Middle School come together for the celebration!

Closing Ceremonies
Athletic Center

Our last day, Wednesday, June 10 will culminate with a closing ceremony at the Athletic Center. Grades 5-7 will have a standard arrival at 181 Lincoln Place, however, eighth-grade students should arrive directly to the Athletic Center at 8:00 AM. Due to space restrictions, the ceremony is only open to the parents and guardians of our eighth-grade students.

We invite Grade 8 parents and guardians who are joining us to arrive at the Athletic Center at 9:15 AM. We will dismiss all students from the Athletic Center at the conclusion of the ceremony, around 10:45 AM.

Eighth graders and their families are invited to a post-ceremony reception in the Athletic Center. Please note that given space constraints, we have two seats available per student. If you require more than two seats, please reach out to the Middle School Office.

A quick note for families: morning arrival bus service will be available as usual, but there will be no dismissal bus service following the ceremony. Please plan accordingly for pickup.
