Prior to NYU, Luis worked for the admissions office at Lehigh University (PA) where he read applications from the Berkeley Carroll School. The College Office team is extremely excited about the expertise Luis will bring with an MA in Counseling Mental Health and Wellness from New York University (NY). Luis is eager to be an active member of the school community.
As experienced educators, our counselors approach the college process as an opportunity for growth and learning. Operating according to the philosophy that “college is a match to be made, not a prize to be won,” the counselors work one-on-one with students and their families to help them discover the best colleges and universities to fit their strengths and goals, and to submit applications that reflect their best, most distinctive qualities. Collectively, they bring nearly 50 years of experience in higher education to their work with Berkeley Carroll families.
