Berkeley Carroll is pleased to provide 5th through 12th graders with the opportunity to rent the instrument that they are playing in their required instrumental class through the school. Only the instrument assigned to the student can be rented through this program.
In order to rent an instrument from the school you must complete and submit this form and pay in full by the start of school. The rental fee for each instrument, which Berkeley Carroll subsidizes for every student, is $150 for the school year. Rented instruments will be distributed during the first weeks of school.
By clicking submit you are agreeing to the rental terms below:
1. Rental Period
The rental period is from the first day of school until the last day of school. If, for any reason, the student renting the instrument is to leave BC, the instrument must be returned immediately. Summer loans are available, but the school cannot provide instrument maintenance during the summer months.
BC will provide service for the instruments. Repairs performed without the written consent of BCS will not be reimbursed by the school. This coverage does not apply to misuse, intentional damage, or loss. If an instrument incurs damage due to misuse or intentional damage, the renter is responsible for the cost of repair by an approved technician. In the event of loss of the instrument, the renter is responsible for the full replacement value of the instrument.
