The Middle School band electrified the audience with their performance, while trumpet great, Terell Stafford, guest conducted the Upper School Band.

Their session was titled, "Choice and Flexibility: Giving Parents What They Really Want For Summer Programming." 8TH GRADER WINS RIDING CHAMPIONSHIP 2ND GRADERS APPEAR ON "GOOD DAY NEW YORK" BC INVITED TO ATTEND NATIONAL 'PEOPLE OF COLOR CONFERENCE' BC faculty and students departed for Nashville on Wednesday to attend the annual National Association of Independent Schools People of Color Conference! The group will explore topics on this year's theme, "Equitable Schools and Inclusive Communities: Harmony, Discord, and the Notes in Between." KINDERGARTNERS LEARN SIGN LANGUAGE WITH AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR THANKSGIVING ASSEMBLY Held last Tuesday, BC's Thanksgiving Assembly is the only event in the year where the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools gather and celebrate in the same room. Head of School Bob Vitalo welcomed students Miles S. '27, Mary D. '23, and Nicole N. '20 who spoke on the themes of "thanks" and "community," and Upper School English Teacher Madeline Clapps who shared a story about her family. The Middle and Upper School Choirs also performed before the traditional "Thank You" finale by 3rd and 4th Grade Chorus. Photos. SENIOR SPEAKERS Congratulations to our latest Senior Speakers: (L-R) Eve B., Zoe C., Skye K. and Brendan Z.! Eve shared what it's like for to be an introvert, including common misconceptions and her efforts to become more outgoing. Zoe movingly detailed what it was like for her to unexpectedly lose a family member last year and reminded classmates to spend the holidays making happy memories with family. Skye talked about how the last night in his childhood home when a wayward squirrel found its way inside influenced how he sees the world. Brendan spoke on the legacy that senior speakers leave behind each year in only 5 or 6 minute speeches, reminding the audience what it means to be "defined by our words."
