Check out the presenters and their topics! |

SENIOR SPEAKERS Congratulations to our final round of Senior Speakers- Jonatan P., Haley C., Sam O., Zoe K. and Finn A.! Jonatan shared how the unforgettable experiences and cherished relationships made the BC experience a positive one, and even shared a homemade video slideshow complete with many of funny, special photos. Haley talked about how a family tradition had resulted in constantly having a house full of BC friends who didn't always follow house rules, and how that helped Haley learn to stay calm, and understand that minute problems always have solutions. Zoe talked about the experience of drifting from hobby to hobby, from knitting, to beekeeping, to mastery of Tae Kwon Do, and how bopping around from these interests shaped Zoe's identity. Finn shared what it was like to develop a real process around video editing- beginning with amateur horror films in middle school and now more sophisticated, signature editing that Finn feels proud of. Sam O. took us on a journey through all of the many injuries and broken bones experienced throughout childhood, each with a spectacularly crazy story behind it (one involving a sushi conveyor belt at a restaurant in London).

4TH GRADERS PERFORM "EN EL RESTAURANTE' FOR THEIR FAMILIES 4th graders gave a hilarious performance of "En El Restaurante…" before an excited on-campus audience of family members and blew them away with their Spanish prowess! In the play, a new restaurant opens in Park Slope and receives a visit from two important food critics. The restaurant staff must come together to wow the critics and protect the future of their new restaurant. The students' performance was equally funny as it was impressive. ¡Muchas Felicidades! |

| 6TH GRADERS CELEBRATE FINISHING SALMAN RUSHDIE BOOK We salute 6th graders who are finishing their final class read of the year, Salman Rushdie's acclaimed "Haroun and the Sea of Stories." In tribute to the chapter where the silly and well-meaning characters wear clown noses to try to keep their noses free of icicles in a tundra landscape, students did the same (our classrooms aren't that cold though!) |
