SENIOR SPEAKERS Congratulations to our latest Senior Speakers: Louisa E., Kelsey D., and Chloe-Marie P. '22. Louisa shared how studying at BC was shaped by having a teacher for a parent, which led to a happy, confident, and overly-sensitive childhood. But by blazing a path and fully embracing a 'weird' personality, Louisa grew more confident, telling the audience: 'I am unapologetically me.' Kelsey told the audience about a love of animals that began in Jamaica and a grandmother who kept pigeons, fish, and a beautiful garden where lizards frolicked. Now Kelsey plans to have a farm with ducks, donkeys, horses, and more. Chloe-Marie told the story of earning a dozen nicknames; Chole, Chloe Chicken, Chatty Kathy, Mouse Guapo, Cholita, and even Cannibal Chloe. These names each came from a mildly embarrassing story, but offer a glimpse into the joy present in Chloe-Marie's relationships. The audience was invited to call Chloe 'Pollo Loco' from this day forward. |
