STUDENTS MARK THEIR SPANISH PROGRESS THIS YEAR Our Lower and Middle School students have been doing amazing work in their Spanish classes! In 1st Grade, students learned new vocabulary to describe their families and pets then drew an album about their loved ones. In 2nd Grade, students learned how to describe rooms in a house in Spanish and created a puppet show to walk classmates through a 3D version of their dream home!
All 5th-8th Grades students spent time in Spanish class thinking about their own expressions of culture and finding vocabulary that defines their identity within that culture. Students created short "I am from/Soy de…" poems, about important possessions from their home and neighborhood, interests and foods, sayings from home, and much more and displayed them throughout the hallways to share their creative expression with the entire community!
