Building off their work in Social Studies exploring different communities, they have used recycled materials and STEAM kits to make the different pieces of their dioramas, including self-portraits, family photos, country flags, and other representations of hobbies, passions, and family traditions! Lots of photos of students with their projects. SENIOR SPEAKERS Congratulations to our latest Senior Speakers, Oliver S. '21, Lucy J. '21, and Sita P. '21! Oliver reflected on his love for jazz music and its power to connect people with a performance of "Alone Together" by Chet Baker.
Lucy told the audience that while it is easy to get wrapped up in your own opinions, it's more important than ever to seek out alternative points of view. Sita has always been fascinated by self-portraits for their ability to freeze a moment in time. She shared some of her own artwork as well as a history of portrait painting.
