3rd & 4th Grade Parent Coffee: Executive Functioning Skills for Student Achievement
-
Virtual

Please join us for a Parent Coffee focusing on strategies and activities for supporting executive functioning skills at home. This talk is geared toward parents of 3rd and 4th graders. Executive functions (EF) are skills that are central to school readiness and school achievement, including planning, organizing, shifting attention, and managing materials. Research shows that EF skills are substantially influenced by experience, characteristics of the family and home environment, and highly interrelated with the regulation of the physiological response to stress. To learn more on this topic, please join Diana Richardson, Lower School Coordinator of Learning Services and Paula Dorinson, Lower School Psychologist, on March 16th, from 4:30pm-5:30pm
