Recently recognized by the United Nations as a Champion of Change, Jodie Patterson is an acclaimed author, public speaker, activist, beauty explorer and mother of 5. She holds the position of Chair of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation Board, the nation's largest LGBT organization. She is also a long-standing entrepreneur, having co-founded two beauty companies and co-owning the live performance venue Joe's Pub at the Public Theater.

She has presented at some of the leading conferences and institutions in the U.S and abroad.

You are invited to Ms. Patterson's talk at Berkeley Carroll on March 14th at 7pm. She will share her journey as a parent of a transgender child, discuss problem solving around conflict, consider the concept of "genderless mothering" and offer us a call to action.
