Engaging In Anti Racist Work: Talking to Your Kids About Race

Engaging In Anti Racist Work: Talking to Your Kids About Race (For White Identifying Caregivers)

We enthusiastically invite all white-identifying parents and caregivers to join a collaborative discussion about how we talk about race and racism with children. This two-part workshop, led by BC teacher/parent Ed Herzman, explores how to lean into uncomfortable conversations, embrace vulnerability, and demystify the process of talking about race and racism with young people. We aim to offer a set of tools to foster ongoing dialogue at home, further enabling BC parents and guardians to partner with the school in the important work of promoting racial justice.
