Why I Chose BC
I actually don't have an exact reason I decided to attend BC. I just remember how I felt when I visited for the first time. Seeing the other kids in classes and in hallways, I had already imagined the things I could do if I went to BC: the sports, the arts, the intellectual discovery. I hadn't even been accepted at this point and it was this indescribable feeling of belonging that told me I needed to go to BC.
My BC is...
enterprising. My first year at BC was a year the school was going under major reconstruction, so all students complained about having to use one narrow staircase instead of the grand one that leads up to the upper school library. I didn't know what it was like to use the big staircase so it didn't bother me as much; I wondered more about what the school would look like after construction. There have been a few other times construction has been done in the school since then -- the beta lab, upper school library, and teachers' offices. All these construction episodes have proven to me that my BC is an ever-changing and growing school, not only physically but through teaching methods, student-faculty and student-student relations, clubs, and many more. As the years have gone by, I've seen my school use resources to change and grow whenever the opportunity presented itself.
