The main entry points for Berkeley Carroll are PreK 4, Kindergarten, and Grade 9. For Grades 1-8 and 10-11, we enroll new students based on attrition.

Grade Level Requirements

If you are applying to more than one grade level in our Lower School (e.g., siblings), please review the core application due dates for each child, as deadlines vary by grade.

BC 3s

Applicants must be 3 years old by September 1, 2027.
Invitations will be offered if space is available after sibling/alumni/faculty priority is considered.
There is no application fee unless you are invited to schedule an appointment.

Fee Waivers

The application fee is waived for students applying for financial aid through Clarity.
Fee waivers are also automatically granted to applicants affiliated with: 360 Academic and Sports Academy, ACES, A Better Chance, Boys Club NYC, Breakthrough New York, CitySquash, De La Salle Academy, George Jackson Academy, Harlem Academy, Macademy, Oliver Scholars, Prep for Prep, and TEAK.
