BUILDINGS AND SCHEDULE

The Lower School buildings on Carroll Street house approximately 365 students. We have one class of three-year-old students (PreK3) and three classes each of students from PreK4 up through fourth grade. For PreK4, we will offer two schedule options — Full Day and Flexi (three full days/two half days), depending on children’s previous school experience.

Lower School students start their days engaging in learning activities at 8:30 am. For students NOT riding the bus, regular drop off is at 8:20 a.m. For families where this presents a significant hardship related to work schedules, children can be dropped off between 7:45 and 8:10 am. They will be supervised in the Yard or Athletic Center/Rec Rm. This is a drop-in program with no fee. Our After School program runs from dismissal until 6:00 pm for a fee.

Dismissal times are as follows:
PreK and K - 2:50 pm
1st and 2nd grade - 3:15 pm
3rd and 4th grade - 3:20 pm

Six-DAY CYCLE

The Lower School follows a six-day cycle. There is a rotation of classes — Days A-F — and the daily schedule for each of these days is unique. The school days are listed both on the printed school calendar and the school website.
