At 4th Annual STEAM Fair, BC Families Get Interactive

BC's 4th Annual STEAM Fair was packed with students and families participating in over 30 hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math experiments such as a demonstration by the Upper School Robotics Club, DNA extraction, kimchi making, magnetic slime, and a marble run.

Engineering students set up an expansive Rube Goldberg machine in the Beta Lab, and mathematician, sculptor, and co-founder of New York's Math Museum George Hart helped students and parents assemble wooden geometric sculptures, explaining the underlying geometric ideas.

The purpose of the annual fair is for students and their families to get hands on experience with real world applications of BC's interdisciplinary approach to STEAM.
