Upper School History Teacher (Winter/Spring 2022, full- or part-time)

Berkeley Carroll is a Pre-K through grade 12 college preparatory school of close to 1000 students located in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn in New York City. Our vibrant learning environment draws students from all over the city. Admission to the school is competitive and both our parents and students value achievement and community.

The Berkeley Carroll School seeks an experienced history teacher, preferably with an advanced degree, to join our history department from January-June 2022.

The full time teaching load would include: Holocaust and Human Behavior (10th grade), Reading War (12th grade), and our team-taught 11th grade American Studies course. A part-time teaching load would include Holocaust and Human Behavior and one of the other courses.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach and adapt the existing course curricula and a love of teaching high school students.
