Carroll Street Campus Expansion

703 Carroll Street Renovation

Our Lower School campus has admirably served generations of students since 1974. For the past 50 years, we have continued to develop our students into critical, ethical and global thinkers by implementing innovative best-in-class curricula. Each day, we encourage our students to expand their minds while engaging with the world around them.

Now, with renovations to our Carroll Street campus, Berkeley Carroll is also expanding to better serve our community with additional and updated classrooms, faculty spaces, and increased opportunities for gathering. These renovations, coupled with a commitment to invest in our endowment to secure an exceptional future for
Berkeley Carroll students of all ages, present a bold moment to support the legacy of our community.

In June of 2023, we officially broke ground on this exciting new Carroll Street campus expansion. The current phase of construction will transform the acquired space at 703 Carroll Street into inviting classrooms, a science learning center and terrace, and a new music room. The project has been funded through internal capital reserves as well as debt. By 2025, our Lower School students will enjoy the fruits of this project.

The passion, rigor, and joy that suffuse our learning community are palpable on Carroll Street. I am excited to see the journey of co-creation, undertaken by our faculty and students each day, enhanced by this enticing new learning space.
