Leadership Circle
Every gift of every size makes a difference at Berkeley Carroll, and the school hopes that all families will contribute at whatever level is appropriate. No gift is too small, nor too large.
In 2005-06, Leadership Circle giving represented approximately 80% of overall Annual Fund giving.
As a thank-you to those who contribute at the Leadership Circle level, the school offers the following:
- Invitations to fall and spring leadership receptions
- Periodic communications of interest to leadership donors
- “What’s at the Core,” an annual newsletter for leadership donors
Through these special events and communications, we hope to provide Leadership Circle members with information about the school and an opportunity to come together socially to share their enthusiasm and support for Berkeley Carroll.

The Lions Club honors participation in the Annual Fund by recognizing those who give up to $1,499. Foundations and major donors considering an investment in Berkeley Carroll often inquire about alumni and parent enthusiasm and commitment. With almost eight out of ten parents participating, as well as a growing number of alumni, the school can make a powerful case to these prospective funding sources. The gifts at the Lions Club level account for 85% of the individual donations we receive and are a critical component of the Annual Fund’s success.
Young Alum Leaders
This giving society recognizes the support of young alums from the past 10 years. Berkeley Carroll is proud that for the past several years more than half the graduating seniors have made five-year pledges to the Annual Fund.
