If humans need to leave planet Earth, where would we go and what would we need?
That is the driving question of our current 5th grade science unit. Our astrophysicists have chosen locations throughout our solar system (and even beyond!) for humans to settle. In this Project Based Learning unit, students determined what information they would need to gather, conducted research, then designed and built landscapes of their locations as well as landers, rovers and habitation modules.
