In PreK and Kindergarten, the Lower School library program supports and reinforces classroom learning, and offers a language and literary experience not duplicated elsewhere in the school. Students meet weekly with the librarian for oral activities such as storytelling, poetry, rhyme, chants and act-outs, as well as presentation of picture books and other visuals. In addition, the librarian works closely with the music and dance specialists to produce special assembly programs throughout the year.
