Child Care Center

Philosophy

At the Berkeley Carroll Child Care Center children are recognized and respected as individuals with unique and diverse family values and backgrounds. They are given the opportunity to develop at their own pace in a warm, nurturing, play-based environment that provides for their physical and emotional health and safety. Teachers are trained to give full attention to the individual development of each child in their care. The classroom has many carefully designed materials to meet the child’s natural interests. Children are encouraged to make choices and develop independence while learning to be responsible members of the classroom community.
