Judo

The Berkeley Carroll Judo program, taught by Rusty Kanokogi, includes students in grades 1-12. In the Lower and Middle Schools, the program is a part of our After School Program; in the Upper School it is a part of our physical education and athletic program.

A world-renowned judo athlete, judo teacher, and coach, Rusty has been training Berkeley Carroll judo enthusiasts for more than 20 years.. A member of the Women's Sports Hall of Fame and an Olympic Champion, she was NBC's expert judo commentator during the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
