Affording Independent School
Your child's education is a top priority, and financial aid is available for those who qualify. Parents who wish to apply for financial aid must file the Parents' Confidential Statement of the School Scholarship Service as well as submit copies of income tax returns. Forms can be requested from the Berkeley Carroll Admissions Office.
Independent schools seek to provide an excellent education leading to strong academic preparation and livelong leadership skills.
Sometimes families think that a "private" school is too expensive, often without knowing the true cost. When one considers that excellent academic and leadership preparation in primary school leads to superior performance in secondary school which leads to choice in college admissions one realizes that cost must be weighed over time.
Affording an Excellent Education
Financial assistance may be available. Like other schools and colleges, the Berkeley Carroll School uses School and Student Services (SSS) to assess a family’s level of need. Berkeley Carroll also requires a school application and tax returns as part of the confidential process. SSS, located in Princeton, NJ, provides unbiased and uniform information to schools.
Allocating resources to secure the best education for your children enables them to develop the tools for success they will use the rest of their life.
