Berkeley Carroll provides its students with a 21st century global education. By the time our students reach High School, their options have expanded to include the resources of the world.

Young people who understand the value of intellectual agility and openness – who have known the joy that learning brings – will continue learning throughout their lives.

Through a rigorous and challenging college preparatory curriculum, which includes a rich spectrum of choice and advanced courses, students exercise critical thinking and writing through active classroom dialogue and debate. Beginning in the Lower School, exposing students to the great resources of our city is an essential part of the Berkeley Carroll education. By the time students reach High School, the options have expanded to include the resources of the world. At Berkeley Carroll students acquire a global education.

The universe is made up of questions – some fundamental, some monumental, and some that are really tough to answer. At Berkeley Carroll, students' education will be shaped not only by how they respond to difficult questions but also by how they formulate them. Asking and answering these questions comes together through the invaluable relationships students forge with their Berkeley Carroll teachers.

Berkeley Carroll's faculty are committed to encouraging scientifically, mathematically, and artistically minded students -- all of whom learn to, and ultimately excel at, written and verbal expression.
