The entire school, over a thousand people, gathered for the Thanksgiving Assembly on November 26, 2013. After Bob Vitalo, Head of School, thanked the teachers, 4th grader Joseph Gordon addressed the group, mentioning that he was thankful for his older brother Caleb and for electricity. Eighth grade speaker Chloe Shane said she was thankful for, among other things, One Direction. The Upper School speaker, Rasheed Evelyn in the 11th grade, reflected that it takes time to master the art of public speaking -- perhaps, but he's well on his way. The alumni speaker, Sadjada Wilson '08, shared that she lost her fear of the unknown in 8th grade, the year she first came to Berkeley Carroll.
The 3rd, 4th, Middle School, and Upper School choruses and choirs sang beautifully, bidding everyone Happy Thanksgiving from Berkeley Carroll.
