Building Improvements

Improvements to our buildings at 712 Carroll Street and 181 Lincoln Place continue apace.

If you walk down Carroll Street you will see that the 712 and 716 buildings have now been merged into one and that the new building is accessible through a unified entrance. The construction of the classrooms is complete. Further, we made a number of improvements at 701 Carroll over the summer:

  • The lobby has been enlarged in order to provide ample space for welcoming students and families as well as for displaying the students' work.
  • Our 1st-4th grades library has been completely rearranged into four floors.  Each floor has a color-coded library/technology/resource "hub" space.  We are calling these rooms hubs because they are located at the center of each floor and will be used as places of collaboration for both students and faculty.
  • There is a new art room and a new science room, both spaces have new furniture.

The Construction Project

The project at Lincoln Place nears completion. Our entire Middle and High School population enjoys the large, beautiful, and brand new dining room and kitchen along with the beautiful new sunlit hallways and meeting places.

Sterling Place, our newest acquisition, is in the throes of renovation, and we look forward to using the space for special events and performances, as well as for administrative offices.
